Ross has been a valued member of Canada Lewis since 2019. He focuses his practice on complex business litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on construction law, real estate disputes, franchise matters, and federal contracting issues. Ross represents contractors, developers, landlords, small and mid-sized businesses, startups, and federal contractors in high-stakes disputes and strategic business matters. A substantial portion of his practice is devoted to representing general contractors, developers, owners, and federal contractors in complex real estate and construction disputes. Ross handles payment disputes, delay and disruption claims, change order conflicts, defective work allegations, termination claims, lien and bond claims, and contract enforcement actions. He regularly represents clients in arbitration and in state courts, and he advises contractors on preserving claims, managing project risk, and positioning disputes for early and favorable resolution.
Before becoming a lawyer, Ross worked within executive management teams for multiple federal contractors, overseeing business-to-business operations and contract performance. He brings more than a decade of hands-on business experience to his legal practice. This background allows him to understand the operational realities of construction projects — schedules, cash flow pressures, subcontractor coordination, and compliance obligations — and to provide practical, strategic counsel aligned with how contractors actually operate.
Ross graduated cum laude from The Appalachian School of Law, where he received both the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation (EMLF) Scholarship. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Journal, captain of the Moot Court team, and as a research assistant to the Dean and two additional professors. He earned his undergraduate degree cum laude from Huston–Tillotson University in Austin, Texas.
